The new 2026 Eurocamp TV advert was filmed at Le Castellas in Sète
“Eurocamp Opens The Door” is the new 2026 advertising campaign, and it’s highly likely you’ve been seeing this pop up on your screens around Christmas and New Year.

But where is the Le Castellas holiday park in the Eurocamp advert?
Le Castellas is a gorgeous, family friendly resort on the south coast of France, near the stunning town of Sète.
In the Languedoc region of France, Le Castellas is located right near a lively port town with canals, boats, seafood, and a proper holiday feel. A lot of travel guides compare it to Venice, thanks to the canals.
It makes the perfect filming location for Eurocamp’s 2026 advertising campaign because it isn’t just about the campsite or the holiday resort, it’s about the local area and how that works for a family trip and the advertisement definitely shows that.
Quick disclaimer: We haven’t stayed at Le Castellas yet. This post is based on what Eurocamp has shared about the advert, plus official park information, plus our own time spent in Sète as a family. If Eurocamp updates any details, I’ll update this post too.
What is Le Castellas, and why does it look so good on TV?
Le Castellas is the perfect Eurocamp for a beach holiday as the site itself has direct access to a gorgeous long stretch of sand in one of the sunniest areas of France.

But not only does it have access to the beach, as you will have seen in the advert, there are also some amazing looking pools with waterslides to occupy the whole family.
To put it simply, this Eurocamp holiday village is a large, activity heavy resort for families that love the sun, the beach, the pools and countless activities.
Here are a few facts from the parc itself:
- Location: Sète, Hérault, Occitanie (south of France)
- Season dates: 27/03/26 to 04/10/26
- Beach: direct access, with multiple entry points
- Size: 990 pitches
- Pools and slides: two aquatic areas, with 3 pools listed and 9 slides listed on Homair
You can tell why Eurocamp filmed the advert here, the site has that classic south-of-France vibe: pine trees, waterslides, sandy beaches, beautiful towns and of course sunshine!

If you love the look of Le Castellas, here’s a low effort itinerary to recreate it on your own holiday – this is the kind of day plan we like to follow when we do a new Eurocamp:

Morning:
Quick sunrise stroll on the search for tasty croissants and a lunchtime baguette. The campsite shop/boulangerie is usually great for this, but quite often we’ll walk or cycle somewhere off-site for a change of scenery. Extra points when you can cycle along a sunny beach like here to Marseillan plage for coffee and a pastry.
After Breakfast:
This is when we do most of our exploring. Before the sun is too hot and the car parks are busy, we’ll take this time to visit a town or city. If staying at Le Castellas we may go into Sete, Marseillan plage, Agde or even further afield to Beziers or Montpellier.

Lunch:
Depending how far away from the resort we are, we’ll either have lunch out or we’ll head back to our holiday home for a snacky charcuterie style lunch, an alfresco bbq, or even to the on-site restaurant. Then a little walk around the site and a trip to the park to help digest the food before the afternoon’s activities.

Afternoon:
This is where we’ll make the most of those waterslides or head to the beach, maybe even both depending on how we feel. It’s usually much warmer in the afternoons so you need the water to cool yourself down. Then we’ll usually grab a beer, wine and ice creams at the bar area before showering ready for the evening.
Evening:
Dinner will depend on what we did for lunch, if we had a big lunch we’ll snack, if we had a small lunch we’ll usually do a BBQ. If we’re feeling lazy, we might even get a takeaway. Then we’ll check the entertainment schedule and decide whether to get dressed up and head out or get the children to bed early, stick on some comfy clothes and sit outside on our decking with a glass of wine or two. The weather in the south is usually still warm enough to sit outside into the late evening and enjoy the atmosphere.

Is Le Castellas actually on Eurocamp?
Yes, Le Castellas has a Eurocamp listing (so you can book it through Eurocamp).
What is a Eurocamp?
If you’ve seen the advert but are confused what a Eurocamp actually is, then we have written a handy guide explaining everything you need to know about Eurocamp and why they’re one of the leading outdoor hospitality brands in Europe.

Staying at Le Castellas and practical advice
Whilst we haven’t stayed at Le Castellas itself, we have stayed at plenty of Eurocamp sites and have also spent quite a lot of time in the town of Sète. It’s actually one of our favourite regions of France and we used to live a few miles down the road in Montpellier. So, I have a lot to share to help you make your decision.

Sète (and the surrounding areas) with kids, what to do once you’ve done the pools and beach
Below are some family friendly ideas to make the most of the area.

Visit the canal:
One of our favourite times to visit Sète is during the annual Fête de la Saint-Louis in August. This unusual event sees two teams jousting on boats. The festival is in its 282nd year, runs for 6 days and the town becomes a cultural hub of music, events, food and festivities.
Away from the festival, the canal is still a fantastic option for a wander with some boat watching.
Try a different beach:

With a 12km stretch of beautiful golden sand, there are plenty of different beach resorts to try. Note; no judgement whatsoever but some families may want to avoid the naturist beaches at Cap D’Agde (others may want to go…)
For families with very young children, the beaches at Mèze and Bouzigues on the Thau Lagoon side prove ideal for their shallow, current-free waters which ease parental anxiety, especially with paddling toddlers.
Le Petit Train de Sète:
Like most towns, Sete has a tourist train which offers an accessible way to explore the town and shares a little about the history of the area. Our children love these trains, as do I. The 40-50 minute guided tour encompasses quays, fishing ports, commercial ports, town center, and Saint Louis breakwater. Pricing remains accessible (€9 adults, €5 children), with no advance booking required.

Sailing schools:
There are many local sailing schools teaching windsurfing, sailboats, catamarans and also hiring out paddleboards and kayaks to holiday makers.
Amusement Parks and Fairgrounds:

Fantasy Park:
Sète accommodates younger children’s entertainment preferences through Fantasy Park, a 1,000-square-meter recreational facility featuring inflatables, wooden games, trampolines, and a signature “huge slide with bumps.” Located directly on Plage de la Corniche (the main beach)
Luna Park Cap d’Agde (12 kilometers away):
Luna Park provides traditional fairground experiences with roller coasters, multiple rides, and eateries. Individual attraction costs approximately €5-6.
Parc d’Attractions Marseillan-Plage (4 kilometers away):
This park operates as a family-oriented carnival environment with varied ride offerings and multiple dining options.
Pirateland Marseillan
This thematic waterpark provides entertainment featuring water cannons, slides, a 300-square-meter pool, and pirate-ship themed structures. A differentiated experience from traditional beach swimming.
Further afield:

Montpellier, the Canal du midi, Beziers and its locks all offer different experiences, museums and more, but if I discussed everything in the area you would be reading this post for hours.
How to book and booking tips for Eurocamp Le Castellas:
If you’re thinking of booking the parc from the TV advert, here’s the Eurocamp page for Le Castellas.
Here are some practical tips for booking this holiday village:

- Book Early for Maximum Savings
Early booking is the most significant money-saving strategy. Eurocamp offers early bird discounts usually around 20% off standard rates, with pre-registration for 2026 opening months in advance. Booking six months ahead secures both optimal pricing and best accommodation selection.
- Use Longer Stay Discounts
Multi-week bookings unlock structured discounts: 5% off for 11-20 night stays, plus an additional 10% (15% total) for stays of 21+ nights. For families planning fortnight holidays, these tiers represent substantial savings
- Avoid Peak UK School Holiday Pricing
July and August represent peak seasons with maximum pricing multipliers. May half-term (not a UK holiday in most European countries) offers surprisingly low rates, while the final week of August typically provides better value than mid-August.
- Skip Linen Package Rentals and Bring your Own Bedding
Linen packages represent poor financial value, costing roughly equivalent to purchasing new bedding or transporting family linen. Exception: Ultimate Plus and Ultimate tiers include complimentary linens kinda justifying their premium pricing. For all other tiers, pack extra bedding or purchase locally upon arrival (depending on arrival times and methods).
- Single Parent Discount Maximization
Traveling solo with children qualifies for £25 savings on 3-6 night stays, escalating to £75 on peak-season 7+ night stays (30th June – 30th August) and £50 during off-season.
