Domaine des Ormes is one of the most unique campsites we’ve visited. Whilst it has as many facilities as a resort, it maintains it’s natural and authentic campsite roots and is filled with tons of green spaces and nature. We love the indoor dome pool which is beautifully heated and decorated. We think it’s one of the nicest Aquatic areas on a campsite that we have ever been to with its wave pool, fast slides, and family-friendly splash areas..

Why Choose Le Palace?
La palace campsite is an amazing campsite for water-lovers like us. It’s got amazing indoor/outdoor pools and its so close to the insane Atlantic coast, our favourite coast in France if you didn’t already know. The campsite’s 13 waterslides are insane with flumes, racer slides and even designated toddler and young children slides. The only thing missing from this aqua park is a space bowl.
When you’re bored of the pools and beaches (which I can’t imagine you will be). There are also amazing bike paths to explore all that the charming seaside town of Soulac has to offer.

There’s something about those halfpipe drop slides that draws me in. It must be the thrill of being held down by gravity, either way, this waterpark is one that I can’t get out of my head. The slides here are thrilling and for children, they will not want to leave the pools. Well, only if they’re heading to the equally thrilling Atlantic beach which is accessed directly from the campsite. The Atlantic coast is amazing for surfers and water sports lovers. We love taking our bodyboards and getting thrashed around by the enormous waves.
Côte d'Argent Campsite

The waterpark at Cote D’Argent is one of the largest and most exciting in France. Mike has been desperate to go to this campsite for years. The heated pool area is fresh, modern, clean and has so many slides and features. But it isn’t just the pools. The nearby beach makes it an all-rounder water fun holiday and we think it’s definitely one to visit.
La Rive Campsite

You already know we love La Rive, the pool facilities are some of our favourites. The indoor waterpark is extensive and its open when the campsite does in early April which means you can swim and play in a nice warm pool in early spring. Our daughters love the splash areas and waterslides but we also love everything else about the campsite too. From the lake, to the soft play and entertainment. This campsite offers so much to families and couples alike.

Yet another Atlantic campsite and yet another amazing waterpark. Le Vieux Port, in our eyes is one of the best. the newly installed wave simulator is an insane addition that adds some real fun to the aquatic area. But the fun doesn’t end at the pools, the beach and the campsite itself has so much to offer in one of the most beautiful locations in France. We love the Landes for its forests, beaches and cool sporty surfer vibe. I definitely recommend you check it out.
Sylvamar Campsite

Sylvamar is a great campsite for families. We’ve visited with toddler aged children and they love the pool facilities. The volcano pool is a little deep but the indoor children’s splash area is the best we’ve ever been to. The outside slides are thrilling and the campsite itself is gorgeous. It’s ina great location for exploring Spain, Biarritz, Hossegor, Bayonne and the stunning Basque coast. We really loved Sylvamar and would love to return to this amazing aquatic campsite again soon.
Le Ruisseau

Le Ruisseau is a great campsite to fly to for a car free holiday. Biarritz airport is a short bus drive away and everywhere is easily accesible via public transport. However, the waterpark here at Le Ruisseau is so good you might never want to leave. Our daughter loved the slides here, even the thrilling drop slides and space bowls. Our toddler on the otherhand enjoyed chilling in the toddler pools and splash areas. But it isn’t just the pools that this campsite is good for. there’s a mini farm, tree top climbing and a wide range of sports facilities to keep you active and energised on your holiday.
La Sirène Campsite

Have you ever seen such a beautiful looking water park? This Eurocamp has one of the most extravagant pool areas with amazing colourrful slides. But that isn’t the only reason people holiday hre. Guests love staying at Le Soleil de la Méditerranée for a relaxing car free family holiday in beautiful Mediterranean sun. The campsite is located really close to tourist spots like Perpignan and Collioure (which we actually think is one of the most beautiful seaside towns on the med). The campsite is amazing for all ages and your children will love the entertainment, sports facilities, kids clubs and, of course, the pools.

Why Choose La Chapelle?
We stayed at La Chapelle in May and LOVED the pools. They were warm, well-maintained and clean. our children loved the kids “tunnel” slides and spent hours splashing about. The campsite is fairly basic but it’s the perfect destination for a car free holiday. There are buses outside and the campsite is located right in Argeles-Sur-Mer town centre so you can easily walk to the beach and town. The compact waterpark was definitely a highlight but it wasn’t the only thing that made our holiday special. The staff and entertainment teams were great and we would definitely return here again. I recommend visiting Collioure and heading over the Spanish border for a unique country hoping holiday.
Le Pommier Campsite

The scenery is amazing and thanks to the campsites entertainement schedule, there’s no better place to stay.

This Unique, riverside campsite offers guests one of the best waterparks in France we have ever been to. Not only do they have two different indoor dome pools but they also have extensive outdoor pools too. There are so many water options here that you’ll never feel crowded. We stayed in the school holidays and the luxury indoor dome with its multiple waterslides was a definite highlight. Our daughter went higher than she’s ever been and slid faster down these racer slides with absolute joy. The pools are warm, the area is clean and for families looking for an amazing campsite water park experience I would 100% recommend Ranc davaine. But it isn’t jus the pools that brings people here. The Ardeche mountains are stunning, the local area has gorgeous and other natural scenery there are lots of sporting opportunities nearby and we love it.
Best Time to Visit These Top waterpark campsites in France
Whilst visiting in the peak seasons of July and August will definitely provide you with the best weather, these campsite waterparks may be pretty busy at these times. To enjoy the weather and school holidays we recommend the first week and last week of the holidays, however, you can’t deny the buzzing atmosphere of a busy campsite. Expect the campsites to be pretty climbing, canyoning, and rafting in advanced, so don’t leave your booking until the last minute. Head over to Eurocamp ASAP to lock in your holiday dates, you might even find some great last-minute offers.
However, if you want to avoid the heat of Summer, avoid some of the crowds, save some money and still enjoy a French holiday, May school holidays are your best bet. As the May half term is not a thing in France, these campsites usually offer holidays for dirt cheap prices and there are so many deals to be had. Whilst the weather may be more temperamental, lots of these aqua parks have indoor areas and heated pools making May a perfect time to stay in a Eurocamp resort.
