Summer Holidays For Under £800
Summer holidays are the most expensive weeks of the year for a Eurocamp, so I’ve done the digging to find the ones that don’t cost the earth. We’ve camped every summer for years (in 40°C in Soustons, and through a heatwave AND torrential rain at La Vallée…), so I know how quickly the price of a peak week adds up.
How I priced these: most English schools break up around Wednesday 21 July 2027, so every price on this page is the cheapest 7 night stay arriving between Saturday 24 July and Saturday 14 August 2027, the proper peak weeks. I checked them all on Eurocamp on 30 September 2026, for a family of four in the cheapest mobile home available. Prices move quickly as parcs fill up, so click through for today’s price.
If your dates are flexible, the last week of August is usually a lot cheaper than late July.
Eurocamps We’ve Stayed At Under £800
Coeur de Vendée, Vendée
From £597.38 (7 nights arriving Sat 24 Jul 2027)
We stayed here in July 2025. It’s a small, peaceful Homair site (Eurocamp’s sister company) with a retractable covered pool and a fun blue slide. We were surprised how much there is to do for a small site, with a no kill fishing pond, a massive mini golf course and lots of grass to run about on.
Best for families who: want a quiet, low cost summer week and have little ones who love a pool.
Le Soleil des Landes, Les Landes
From £657.72 (7 nights arriving Sat 24 Jul 2027)
I’ll be honest, when we visited in August the pool was rammed. But it’s a great base for exploring the Landes, the surf beaches are only a short drive away, and at this price for a peak week you can’t really complain.
Best for families who: want to spend their days on Landes beaches rather than at the pool.
La Grande Métairie de Kermario, Carnac
From £730.10 (7 nights arriving Sat 24 Jul 2027)
We stayed here for 10 nights in July 2026 (a gifted stay) with three generations of the family, and the pool complex was far better than I expected. There’s a heated lazy river, 4 racer slides and a curved flume, plus a covered pool and a fully indoor pool. This price is for arriving on 24 July, so be quick.
Best for families who: want a big pool complex and a pretty Brittany seaside town nearby.
Domaine de la Brèche, Saumur
From £766.29 (7 nights arriving Sat 14 Aug 2027)
The newly renovated pool is a highlight for a lot of families, but for us it was being so close to Saumur. It’s small, family friendly and great for a day out with young children. This price is for arriving 12 to 14 August.
Best for families who: have young children and fancy some Loire exploring (and maybe a little wine tasting).

Le Ty Nadan, Brittany

It’s high on our list. A five-star riverside site near Arzano with an indoor and outdoor pool complex, and kayaking on the river. It looks perfect for active families who’d rather have woodland than beach crowds.
Aqua Viva, Dordogne
From £476.70 (7 nights arriving Sat 24 Jul 2027)
The cheapest peak week I found. A Dordogne parc with a kids’ club and winding cycle paths to explore by bike.
Château de Galaure, Drôme
From £500.85 (7 nights arriving Sat 24 Jul 2027)
A rustic, rural parc near the village of Châteauneuf-de-Galaure. Good if you want quiet countryside rather than a busy resort.
La Baie de Kernic, Brittany
From £512.89 (7 nights arriving Sat 7 Aug 2027)
It has a water park with an indoor heated pool and a waterfall, plus a kids’ club. Handy for the Roscoff ferry too.
Friese Meren, Netherlands
From £561.19 (7 nights arriving Sat 14 Aug 2027)
A calm, green Dutch parc surrounded by lakes and villages, with an indoor pool. Great for cycling.
Côte Sauvage, Charente-Maritime

Near the beach, so there’s watersports to try, and the parc runs arts and crafts workshops for the kids.
Mayotte Vacances, Landes

Domaine de Chaussy, Ardèche

Five family pools and a lagoon-style lido, plus mini golf and basketball. The Ardèche is great for canoeing too.

Camping Bel, Vendée

We stayed at Camping Bel for May half term 2026 (a gifted stay) and we had 35°C! It’s a small, relaxed site with a calm pool and a shallow toddler pool with its own little slide. The best bit is the sandy beach, around 300m from the entrance.
Best for families who: have younger children and want the beach on foot rather than big slides.
Riva Bella, Normandy

Pools with waterslides, a children’s pool and a heated indoor pool, and it’s a short drive to the beach. The Portsmouth to Caen ferry lands right in Ouistreham.

A big adventure playground for the kids and a spa with a sauna for you. Narbonne-Plage is right on the Mediterranean.

Summer Holiday Eurocamp FAQ
When is the cheapest week in the summer holidays?
Usually the last week of August. Late July and the first two weeks of August are the most expensive.
Is everything open in the summer?
Yes, July and August are peak season, so pools, kids clubs and entertainment are all in full swing.
Do I need to book early for summer?
Yes. The cheapest mobile homes at the popular parcs go first, so if you’ve spotted a price you like, don’t wait too long.
