May Half Term 2027 Eurocamp Holidays For Under £500

May Half Term For Under £500

May Half Term Holidays are one of the best times to visit a Eurocamp park. Whether you plan to stay in one of Eurocamp’s resorts, villages or campsites, I’m here to find some of the best offers for your family.

The reason May half term is such a good week for Eurocamp Holiday deals is because the European school holidays run to a different schedule, meaning it’s only really the UK that has a school holiday at this time. So you get all the perks, cheaper holidays, less busy-ness and (normally) sunshine!

Below I’m going to list the best Eurocamp May half term offers I can find, many of which we have stayed at ourselves (so I’ll also link you to our comprehensive reviews of them).

How I priced these: most English schools are off from Monday 31 May to Friday 4 June 2027, so every price on this page is the cheapest 7 night stay arriving on Saturday 29 or Sunday 30 May 2027. I checked them all on Eurocamp on 1 November 2026, for a family of four in the cheapest mobile home available. Prices move quickly as parcs fill up, so click through for today’s price.

May is outside peak season at a lot of campsites too, so it’s worth checking which facilities will be running for your dates. Kids clubs often run a shorter schedule at this time of year.

Eurocamp Holidays Under £500

I’ll be honest, there are an unbelievable amount of 7 night Eurocamp holidays under £500 available, to see for yourself head to the website:

Below I’m going to list the exact ones we have been to, and then, the ones we would choose to visit and why.

La Chapelle in Argeles sur mer is a Homair parc with a great location. The pool area includes multiple heated pools, an indoor pool and waterslides, which is ideal for the weather in May.

Best for families who: Want a practical base for exploring and walking distance from the sea and shops.

La Garangeoire in Vendée stands out as a spacious, eco-friendly haven with heated pools, a lagoon beach and on-site lakes, ideal for families seeking a balanced half-term mix of relaxation and gentle adventure.

We love this site so much that we have visited it 3 times now. The pool complex is great but the lagoon, on-site activities and parks are just as fantastic.

Best for families who: enjoy a rustic yet comfortable space with grassy emplacements, clean bathrooms, fishing lakes and a gorgeous wooded estate.

A woman holding a child on a climbing frame at the play park, Domaine de la Brèche

From £289.63 (7 nights arriving Sun 30 May 2027)
Domaine de la Brèche in the Loire Valley combines lush green spaces, a versatile heated pool setup and toddler-friendly zones, positioning it well for half-term families after recent upgrades.

The newly renovated pool at this gorgeous Loire valley site is a highlight for many families but for us, we loved the proximity to the gorgeous city of Saumur. It’s small, family friendly and great for a day out with young children.

Best for families who: Have young children and would like somewhere safe for them to enjoy. Families who enjoy wine tasting and Loire adventures.

Les Menhirs, Brittany

From £249.96 (7 nights arriving Sun 30 May 2027)
Les Menhirs in Carnac, Brittany, provides prime beach access, a solid waterpark and a compact, clean setup, suiting half-term families who want a typically French holiday. The seaside at Carnac is just 350m away and is one of the most stunning seaside towns we have visited – so much so that we went back to the area in July 2026 (to La Grande Métairie de Kermario). The pool area is nice, clean and fresh and features family favourite waterslides like the space bowl.

Best for families who: want a beach, town and supermarket nearby and want a mix of exploring and relaxing.

This campsite is perfect for half term holidays thanks to its heated water parks, and gorgeous location. The French basque country is so unique and amazing to explore, though May weather can be turbulent.

Water slides looping over a pool at Domaine La Yole

Domaine de la Yole near Valras-Plage has a 4000m² waterpark with heated pools, massive slides and toddler zones, plus quick beach access, making it a lively half-term hub for sun-seekers.
This is a good choice for May half term thanks to its southern location. The weather in this part of France is likely to be warm and sunny (but not too hot) at this time of year which means you can use La Yole’s extensive pool facilities and beach to its benefit.

Best for families who: seek the sun, pools and beaches.

Sylvamar, Les Landes

From £398.27 (7 nights arriving Sun 30 May 2027)
Sylvamar in Labenne delivers a volcanic-themed waterpark extravaganza, heated pools and beach proximity, positioning it as a top half-term choice for families craving splashy, stylish Landes coast action

We loved the short walk/cycle to the beach and also cycled the gorgeous Landes bike paths to explore further afield.

Best for families who: have children of all ages and different needs. There are splash parks and soft play for young ones and slides and entertainment for the elders. There’s also a spa for the grown ups to escape.

Best for families who: Seek endless water wow: toddlers splash safely, bigger kids hit slides/surf wave, teens enjoy arena events. Families who like to stay active and cycle/walk/surf

Saint Avit Loisirs near Le Bugue in Dordogne blends a stellar pool complex with riverside calm and adventure access, suiting half-term families for a peaceful yet fun Périgord escape.

Le Soleil des Landes in Lit-et-Mixé provides a heated indoor/outdoor pool complex with waterslides, water garden and spa area, ideal for half-term families exploring Landes beaches and villages.

Another great May half term option is Le Soleil Des Landes. When we visited in August this site was rammed – but as it had a mostly French client base, you can imagine May will be nice and quiet. The parc is a great one to explore from and the beaches are just a short drive away.

Best for families who: wish to explore the Landes area with perfect beaches for surfing and active family activities.

The outdoor pools and slides at La Grande Métairie de Kermario, Carnac

La Grande Métairie de Kermario, Carnac

From £208.60 (7 nights arriving Sun 30 May 2027)
We stayed here for 10 nights in July 2026 (a gifted stay) with three generations of the family, and the pool complex was far better than I expected. There’s a heated lazy river, 4 racer slides and a curved flume, plus a covered pool and a fully indoor pool for cooler days. Carnac is one of our favourite areas and the beaches are lovely.

Best for families who: want a big pool complex with an indoor back-up and a pretty Brittany seaside town nearby.

The main swimming pool at Camping Bel, La Tranche-sur-Mer

Camping Bel, Vendée

From £216.35 (7 nights arriving Sun 30 May 2027)
We stayed at Camping Bel for May half term 2026 (a gifted stay) and we had 35°C! It’s a small, relaxed site rather than a big waterpark, with a calm pool and a shallow toddler pool with its own little slide. The best bit is the sandy beach, around 300m from the entrance, and it’s a short walk into La Tranche-sur-Mer.

Best for families who: have younger children and want the beach on foot rather than big slides.

The covered pool and blue slide at Coeur de Vendée

Coeur de Vendée, Vendée

From £187.04 (7 nights arriving Sat 29 May 2027)
A small, peaceful Homair site (Eurocamp’s sister company) with a retractable covered pool and a fun blue slide. We were surprised how much there is to do for a small site, with a no kill fishing pond, a massive mini golf course and lots of grass to run about on.

Best for families who: want a quiet, low cost week and have little ones who love a pool.

The pool complex at Le Ranc Davaine, Ardèche

Le Ranc Davaine, Ardèche

From £425.80 (7 nights arriving Sun 30 May 2027)
The pool complex here is truly amazing, with a newer water park (space bowls, racer slides and flumes) and an indoor area with a wave ball, lazy river and river rapids. The campsite sits on the Chassezac River too, though it was flowing quite fast when we stayed.

Best for families who: are waterpark obsessed and want to explore the Ardèche.

Eurocamps we’ve visited (but not reviewed) and parks we want to visit next

Whilst I haven’t reviewed these sites, they are some that we plan to visit over the next couple of years or ones that we have visited before starting this website. I’ll add why I believe they are great options for a may half term eurocamp stay under £500.

Le TY Nadan, Brittany

From £144.83 (7 nights arriving Sat 29 May 2027)

From £486.17 (7 nights arriving Sun 30 May 2027)

From £168.98 (7 nights arriving Sat 29 May 2027)

Atlantic Club Montalivet, Gironde
